College Room Tour

I am so excited to be showing off my room today!  I absolutely love my room at school!  It is so me, and my favorite place to hang out.

I live in an off campus house a street away from my university with two other room mates.  One of my room mates is graduating in the spring, but we found a third person for next year and I am so happy to be living here again for my senior year next year!

This is going to be super picture heavy and wordy, so apologies in advance!  So, without further ado, here is my room.

First is my bed!  This is my old full bed from home, making it so comfortable and familiar!  We also put on the memory foam mattress cover that I had freshman and sophomore year making my bed even more comfy!  My quilt and matching white sham are from Target, as are the cactus and pink pillows.  Actually, so is my body pillow and the fuzzy pink cover that I bought for it.  Target has the best college items!

I'm not sure about the navy blue pillow with arms, but I think it's from Bed Bath & Beyond.  I also got that freshman year, and I absolutely love it!  My pillow pet is the Blues mascot Louie, and I have had him since freshman year of high school.  At this point, I don't think I can sleep without him!  Lastly, the Blues blanket at the foot of my bed was a free promotion item that my grandparents got at a Blues game and gave to me, and I absolutely love it!

Next is my desk!  The desk itself is just a cheap one from Target because I wanted to keep my desk from home at home.  It is perfect for a college room, but honestly probably wouldn't recommend it for long term.  On my desk I have some People magazines that I need to catch up, my copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (currently re-reading the series again...oops), my Kindle Fire, and my iPhone.

In the back left is a light  up "Treat Yo Self" my mom and I found at Target (shocker) and the candle and candle holder is from Bath and Body Works.  The pencil holder I've had since freshman year and is also from Target.  My desk lamp is also form freshman year and Target.  I then have a Disney desk calendar that I got from my grandparents for Christmas this year.  Next to that is my Jake Allen bobblehead.  This is another promotional item that my grandparents got from a Blues game and gave to me since he is my favorite Blues player!  I then have a little desk organizer from freshman year and Target that holds things like Post It notes, tape, extra lead and erasers for my pencils, a staplers, tacs, binder clips, sticky tac, batteries, and other random office supplies.

Under my desk is where I keep my school supplies.  The book holders I got from, you guessed it, Target my freshman year.  That's where the notebooks and folders are from as well.  Underneath those I have some coloring books (amazing stress relievers), extra looseleaf, and my clipboard from when I was on the exec board of my sorority last year.

This is the little wall above my desk!  First is my wall calendar.  I bought this last year when I lived in my sorority house, and now it is above my desk.  I put literally everything on it: holidays, birthdays, big tests and projects, and events I have.  This way I can see it all the time when I'm in my room and be prepared!  I'm pretty sure that this is from Bed Bath & Beyond

Next is my cork board.  I got this freshman year at Target and have used it every year!  I need to update it with pictures from last semester, but they are just a few pictures of my friends and family both from home and at school, and some inspirational quotes I found on Tumblr.  My work schedule is also stuck on it to know when my own shift is and other people that I work with.

Lastly at the top is a Disney canvas that my best friend from home made me for my birthday a few years ago.  It's my favorite canvas and I hang it up every year!

Next to me desk is my hat rack.  I have way more at home, but I brought my favorites back to school with me since I don't have a ton of room.  The Blues hat is from the True Blues store, Mizzou hat is from the Mizzou bookstore, Bradley University is from my school's bookstore, and STL hat is from Paper Dolls Boutique.

One of my favorite features of my room, my Blues flag!  My grandparents are season ticket holders and were so generous giving this to me!  I absolutely love it and have been wanting a flag or tapesty for awhile, so this is perfect!

I'm not exactly sure what to call this, but I got this freshman year at Target.  I use it as a stand for my TV and as storage for my toiletries and other random things around my room.

Here is my dresser.  Confession: this is my brother's old baby dresser.  We literally replaced all the truck and airplane knobs when I moved in this year lol.  I keep all of my clothes in here and on top is my journal, a picture from, my makeup mirror, glasses, and my winter hats.

This is another thing that I have had since freshman year but I don't remember where it's from (odds are it's from Target).  This holds all of my medicines, lotions, hair ties, and other really random stuff.  On top is a mini iHome, remotes for my TV, and my Starbucks cup that I am obsessed with and use literally every single day.  I used this as my night stand in both my sorority house and now.

I also have my full length mirror that opens up and holds all of my jewelry!  It is absolutely amazing and I am so happy with it!  My mom ordered this for my birthday last summer so I'm not exactly sure where it's from.

Lastly, we have my closet.  I have the smallest room in our house (but I get to use the driver because of it so I'm happy about it!) and my closet is actually pretty big, which surprised me.  I keep my going out clothes, tank tops, and short sleeve shirts on the left.  On the right are my jackets, long sleeves, sweaters, and sweatshirts.  I keep all of my shoes and my hamper on the bottom, and I have even more storage to the right behind my long sleeves which is boring so I won't show you.

And that is it for my room!  I hope you all enjoyed!

xoxo, Hannah
