Who I Watch On YouTube
Since I am currently at home for Spring Break and not going on a trip, I am spending a lot of break watching YouTube! I've been watching YouTube for so long and have added and gotten rid of subscriptions for years. I am always so interested in seeing who other people watch, so I thought I would share some of my faves! So without further ado, here is my YouTube Subscription List!
1. ABBY ASSELIN
I started following Abby about a month ago, and I'm so so glad that I found her! She is a sophomore at the University of Alabama who mainly does "College Day in My Life" videos. They are some of my favorite videos to watch, and she gives me a lot of ideas such as healthy meals, workout routines, and study tips! It also helps that her dog is absolutely adorable!
2. GRETCHEN GERAGHTY
Gretchen's channel is another recent find. I started watching her videos in January and am so glad that I subscribed! She is another YouTuber in college (she's a junior at Boston University) and is so fun to watch! She does "Week in My Life" videos, clothing hauls, and more that are so fun to watch. She is also always so happy and positive about everything, and is basically just a ray of sunshine. She's just so cute and fun to watch and I highly recommend!
3. ZOELLA/MOREZOELLA
Danielle is another college YouTuber who is just so inspirational. She is a freshman at the University of Georgia and makes videos like "College Week in My Life," clothing hauls, Q&A videos, and just fun, chatty, lifestyle videos that are so fun to watch. Highly recommend her!!!
5. MAGGIE MACDONALD
I have been following Maggie on tumblr for years, and when she announced on there that she was starting a YouTube channel, I knew that I had to follow her! She posts vlogs, hauls, fitness routines, food routines, and more! She is also in college (she's a junior at Bridgewater State University) and is so honest and relatable which is so refreshing to watch in this industry.
6. ALEXANDMICHAEL
I have been following Alex and Michael for a little over a year now, and I absolutely love their vlogs. They're a married couple in Michigan that have chats, cook, do clothing hauls, and travel a lot! Their channel is especially exciting right now because they just opened an online boutique (Good To Be) and are expecting their first baby any day now! Alex has a main channel as well, but I like the vlog channel so much better.
7. KATIE HORAN
I didn't start following Katie until about 2 weeks ago, but I'm really liking her videos! She is friends with Abby Asselin who I mentioned earlier, which is how I found her, and also attends the University of Alabama. She mainly does college day in the life vlogs, with occasional lifestyle videos as well.
8. EMMA MACDONALD
Emma is Maggie MacDonald's younger sister. She is 16 and a junior in high school, and for a high schooler, her videos are really good. She does a lot of travel vlogs and videos with her friends, and also a lot of sit-down videos which are also pretty good. She definitely has more to learn, but most high school-aged YouTubers are not very video savvy, but her videos have good content and are edited very well!
9. CARLY THE PREPSTER
I have been following Carly's blog since I was a junior in high school (back then she was The College Prepster), and she started posting consistently on her YouTube channel about 2 years ago. She used to do vlogs, but now she does more sit down, chatty videos. She uses it as an extension to her blog, and as a long-time reader, it's so fun to hear her explain her stories and favorites instead of just reading about them! She posts videos such as monthly favorites, story times, packing tips, and more!
10. ALYSSAONTHEROCKS
I started following Alyssa for her Disney vlogs. She lives in LA so she frequently visits Disneyland, and her and her sister go to Disney World in Florida often as well. She also vlogs her trips to Universal Studios as well. Her vlogs are just so much fun to watch and make me laugh out loud. And she's only 18 years old! She is also very into filmography and puts up video edits of her days in the parks which are so cool to watch as well.
11. MONICA CHURCH
Monica is another YouTuber that I have been following for about a year, and her vlogs are some of my favorites. She has a main channel as well, but I'm more of a fan of her vlog channel. Her vlogs are in a series called "Millennial Life Crisis" and just does videos of her day as a millennial. She is so ordinary and relatable, making her hilarious and will have you saying "Oh my gosh, I do that!"
12. MICHELLE REED & MICHELLEOUTOFHERSHELL
Michelle's main channel and vlog channel are another recent find for me. She is a college student in New York City, that does a lot of routine, haul, and day in the life videos. If you are seeing a pattern, so am I lol. She is a recent find, but I have loved every video I have watched so far!
13. HELLOKATY
Last but not least, is Katy Bellote. I have been following Katy since she was a sophomore in college (she's currently a senior at Elon University) and her videos have helped me so much. I marathoned all of her freshman year of college videos about two weeks before I left for my freshman year of college. She gave some great tips and didn't filter anything out which helped prepare me for my college experience. She is also know for being completely honest about everything. From hook ups, to boys, to college parties, and so much more. She is so incredible and I admire her so much!
Let me know who your favorite YouTubers are!

Zoe Sugg is really who I credit with getting me into YouTube. I've been watching her since 2012 and her videos are still some of my favorites to watch today. She's so relatable and similar to me that I feel like I know her, and I've watched her grow up on YouTube. From living in her dad's house with her brother, to moving to a flat in Brighton, getting guinea pigs, dating Alfie, moving in with Alfie, getting a dog together, and so much more, I've watched her whole life and am so happy and proud of everything that she's done. Seriously, watch her main channel and her vlog channel because they are seriously amazing!
