20 Facts About Me

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great holiday.  I definitely did!  My "What I Got For Christmas" post should be coming tomorrow, but in the mean time, I thought I would do a "20 Facts About Me" post so you can get to know me a little better.  Enjoy!


1. I am 20 years old and a junior in college.

2. I am from the Saint Louis area.

3. I'm allergic to medicines, but not any food.

4. I have been dancing since I was 2 years old and continue to dance in college.

5. I have an extra ligament on my tongue, and can't stick my tongue out.

6. I know everything there is to know about Harry Potter and have read the entire series about 10 times.  However Prisoner of Azkaban, my favorite book in the series, I have read way more than 10 times - I've actually lost count of how many times I've read it.

7. I didn't start liking coffee until sophomore year of college.

8. People hate watching my favorite movies with me because I can usually quote them word for word...oops.

9. Penguins are my favorite animal.

10. Buffalo chicken anything is my favorite food.

11. Fall is my favorite season.

12. The TV series I can rewatch over and over again is Parks and Recreation.

13. I am a sports communications major and a social media marketing minor.  My dream job is to run a social media page or blog for a sports team.

14. I can't stand the taste of toothpaste, and brushing my teeth is my least favorite part of the morning.

15. I hate milk.  Drinking it makes me gag, and I eat cereal dry.

16. My favorite color is millennial pink...and I am way too stereotypical lol.

17. My happy places are Walt Disney World and Rhode Island, where my extended family lives.

18. Instead of gaining weight freshman year of college, I actually lost weight because I hated the food in the dining hall and was tired of eating at the fast food places in the student center.  My mom would make me food to bring back when I came home for the weekend and basically lived off of Pop Tarts and microwavable macaroni and cheese.

19. My favorite day of the year is Christmas Eve.

20. My zodiac sign is Gemini, and it honestly describes me perfectly.

 It's been a little over one year since I moved home after college and my room is pretty much the exact same as when we moved into this house when I was in eighth grade.  Even down to the light blue wall paint that I was obsessed with at one point.  Not to mention the furniture I've had since I was a baby!  This will definitely be a long process since furniture is pricy, but I've been looking into Pinterest a lot lately for some inspiration and am getting a lot of great ideas about what I want to do.  The good thing about this will be that I can take this furniture with me whenever I end up moving and that's one less thing I will have to worry about! February/March Content Consumption

Since my family and I are 100% practicing social distancing right now, we have been staying home and consuming so  much content.  I realized I never posted a February content consumption post, but that's mainly because I read a ton of books and only watched one TV show...so it really would have been pretty boring.  Although March is already almost over, I thought I would just combine the two now in case you all want to read/watch what I did these past two months while you're social distancing! BOOKS The Boys in the Boat by Daniel James Brown: 9.5/10 //  All I can say about this book is wow .  My family and I got this book for my grandpa for Christmas a few years ago and he still says it's his favorite gift he has ever gotten.  I had been wanting to read it, but I kept putting it off since I don't know much about rowing and I wasn't sure if I would find it enjoyable.  I finally borrowed the book from my grandpa and wow am I glad I did!...

I used to to favorites posts every month, but I've been slacking on those kind of recently.  So, since it's been awhile since I've updated you on what I've been loving lately, here is a large list of what I am currently loving right now! Apple Watch Nylon Sport Loop // I've been looking for a new Apple Watch band for awhile.  The silicone band that my watch came with was getting really dirty and gross, and I bought a magnetic band last year which I liked, but the magnet would get stuck on random objects which would result in my band loosening or picking up other metal objects along the way.  One of my friends from work had this nylon Apple Watch band which is pretty much what I had been looking for!  It's super affordable, stylish and cute, and can be worn to work out and for everyday use.  The only down side is that it's probably not the best if you like to wear your watch when you swim, but I usually take mine off when I go swimming so that wasn...
