What I Got For Christmas 2017
Hello everyone! Today I am going to be sharing what I got for Christmas this year. I've got to say that this year was one of the best I've had! Not only gift-wise, but it was so special to be able to spend time with my family this year. Three of my grandparents came down with the flu the week of Christmas, and we were thinking that it would end up just being my immediate family for the holiday. Thankfully, everyone recovered and we were able to celebrate all together!
Here is a little disclaimer: this post is not to show off what I got or to brag or anything. I love reading these kinds of posts and watching these types of videos on YouTube, so I thought that this would be a fun post to do!
So without further ado, here is what I got for Christmas this year!
Maroon Turtle Neck // Unfortunately, I can't find this one the Target website, but that's where my mom got this from! I absolutely love this sweater and have already worn it twice since Christmas day. It is a dark maroon color with a very wide turtle neck, and criss-cross detailing leading up to the next. I got this in a medium, a size bigger than I normally am, so it would be oversized, chunky, and extra comfy.
Long Sleeve Crew T-Shirt in Blush // This is just a plain, pink long sleeve shirt from Target. I have these in so many colors and was so happy to add a pink to my collection!
LuLu Lemon Align Pant II Crop in Black // I love LuLu Lemon leggings. They are so comfy, and worth the price. But since they are so expensive, I only get them for Christmas and my birthday, and the align pants are some of my favorites! I love the black because I can wear it with anything, and I definitely will get use out of these!
Sorority Letter Jacket // I got this jacket from my cousin in Rhode Island as part of our family Secret Santa and it is so cute! It is embroidered with my sorority letters on it, Gamma Phi Beta, and I will definitely get wear out of it in the next year and a half, before passing it down to other members of my family!
Men's Saint Louis Blues Hoodie // This hoodie my brother actually got for Christmas. He didn't like the fit of it, so I got to have it instead! It is a size large, making it extra big. I actually wore it to a Blues game the other day and loved the bigger fit! It was comfy without looking too oversized and was perfect for wearing to a Blues game on a freezing day.
Alex Pietrangelo Blues Shirt // For my birthday this year I got a t-shirt with my favorite Blues player on it, Jake Allen. Now for Christmas, I got another Blues t-shirt, but this time with the captain, Alex Pietrangelo, on it.
Saint Louis Blues Women's Lace Up Hoodie // This sweatshirt was actually gifted to me, lol. It is super cute and feminine, and will be better for wearing outside instead of the big, baggy sweatshirts that I have.
My family knows me so well, because they know that I love to be comfy! I got lots of comfy socks and slippers that will definitely by used during this cold front we are currently going through!
Disney 2018 Desk Calendar // I get desk calendars every year because I love seeing a different image every day. This year, I got a Disney desk calendar with facts and behind the scenes trivia to look through throughout the year, and I can not wait to start using it.
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban Illustrated Version // As I've mentioned earlier, I absolutely love Harry Potter, and my favorite book in the series is Harry's third year: Prisoner of Azkaban. I had seen the first two books illustrated, and after being in Target and seeing it one day, I knew that I just had to have this! The illustrations are absolutely beautiful and it made re-reading my favorite book so much more enjoyable!
The Crown Season 1 Companion Novel // I love The Crown on Netflix and have always had a fascination with the royal family. This companion novel goes so much more into detail than the series does and clears up some of the issues that the series talks about. Anyone who is a fan of The Crown should read this book!
Apple Watch Series 3 // This was a total surprise gift for me! I had told my mom that I was going to ask for this for my birthday, but was shocked to receive it for Christmas. I'm going to be doing an Apple Watch review post soon, but sneak peak: I'm obsessed with it!
Power Beats3 Gold // Since I received the iPhone 8 Plus as an early Christmas present and there is no more headphone jack, I didn't want to have to deal with so many different kinds of headphones. Instead, I asked for these wireless Beats that will connect to my phone using Bluetooth, making it so much easier to listen to music on my walks to class, use when working out, and more. I've already used them a few times and am absolutely in love with them!
