At Home Workout Resources

Working out is one of the many things keeping me sane right now!  I used to hate working out, and I'm personally someone who thrives better in a class environment.  I get motivation from the people around me and I love the personalization from the instructors so working out by myself has been a HUGE change for me!  I've been experimenting with multiple different formats and types of workout because if I do the same thing too often, I get burnt out and just want to stop altogether.  I know there are so many companies and apps who are doing longer free trials and free online workouts.  I think it's so amazing what companies are doing during this crazy time.  These are the ones I've personally been using, so just because one isn't listed doesn't mean I don't like it!  So, here is how I've been liking to workout these days.

MADFIT (YOUTUBE/INSTAGRAM) // MadFit has been my go to lately!  I've been following her for a long time but got off the bandwagon because her workouts are hard.  I used to barely be able to get through one of her 15-minutes HIIT workouts (yes, this is incredibly sad).  But now that I've been more consistent with working out and getting used to doing cardio again, I've been absolutely loving her account!  Maddie does all kinds of workouts, but my personal favorite are her Low Impact/Apartment Friendly workouts.  I hate jumping jacks, high knees, and anything resembling those movements.  Her apartment friendly HIIT workouts are low impact with no jumping but still get my heart rate up and leave me sweaty!  I'm already looking forward to watching one of her videos later today for my workout and genuinely look forward to picking a new video for each day.

OPEN FIT // This is a subscription service but they have free trials to utilize!  I've been loving Xtend Barre with Andrea Rogers.  There are a ton of videos so you can watch whenever you want, but she also has a calendar so you can do 30 days of Xtend Barre.  As a former dancer, I've loved these workouts because they're dance based, although you don't have to be a dancer to get the full affect of these workouts!  Each video is also only 30 minutes so it's quick to do while still getting a good burn in!

WORKOUTS FOR WOMEN // This is a free app that I used a lot last summer and loved.  There are so many different types of curated workouts for different skill levels, different lengths, and so much more.  Basically if you want a certain type of work out, there's a good chance it's on the app!  And it's completely free!  I felt so strong and fit when I used this and could really feel a difference in how I worked out.  Highly recommend for those balling on a budget but still want to get in a great workout!

CALIFULLERFIT // Cali's workouts are fire and genuinely make me so sore the next day (in the best way)!  She posts some great workouts on her Instagram for free, but she also has a program to follow along and get special workouts every single day.  I don't have her program, I just follow her on social but honestly thinking about buying it for a bit to really keep me on track and mixing up my workouts which is what I really like to do!

What types of workouts are you doing at home?  Stay safe and healthy!

xoxo, Hannah
