To All The Boys I've Loved Before

Image
Honestly, I've been doing way better on my reading goal so far than I thought I would.  I've already knocked off a few books from my list on GoodReads, and usually end up reading more than just one chapter every day.  The last week of break, one of the books that I checked off my list was To All the Boys I've Loved Before  by Jenny Han.  I had kind of half-watched the movie on Netflix with my roommate last year, but I didn't really pay attention or know what was going on so I basically took in nothing from it.  But everyone loved and raved about the movie so much that I decided to add the book to my reading list. Well after reading the first book, I decided to read the next two in the series, even though I wasn't originally planning on it.  And, to be honest with you, the first book in the series was actually my least favorite.  And my favorite book in the series was the last one, Always and Forever, Lara Jean .  I literally stayed up until ...

Since I was absent on this blog for so long, I think it's time for a sort of "life update" type post.  I've posted what I've done and everything, but what are my favorites?  What am I currently loving or doing?  I found a template on Pinterest filled with questions to answer, and thought it would be a nice way to document where I'm at for me, and for you guys to see what I've been doing and loving lately! READING:   P.S. I Still Love You  by Jenny Han.  It's the sequel to To All the Boys I've Loved Before .  I had seen the Netflix movie, so I figured, why not read the book?  It's very  high school and a quick and easy read, but I seriously enjoyed it!  It ended with a pretty big cliffhanger, and I'm already about 60 pages into this one.  I'll most likely end up reading the third one too. WATCHING:  I'm honestly in the middle of a lot of Netflix shows right now...oops.  I'm almost done with the first season of How to...

2018 Favorites

I am very aware that we are very into 2019 already, but I thought it would be fun to do one last little recap of 2018.  I wanted to talk about not only products that were my favorite throughout the year like most people do, but also my experiences and lifestyle changes that I made throughout the year.  So, without further ado, here are my favorite parts of 2018! ONE // FAMILY TIME As a college student, I spend a lot of time out of town in my college town, so family time is hard to come by.  However, in 2018 I feel like I made so much more effort to be with my family and I loved every second of it.  We travelled together all summer, celebrated some big milestones, like my brother graduating from high school and me turning 21.  We had lots of adventures over the summer, not to mention all of the times they came to visit me at school and I came home to see them.  This winter break, though, has seemed extra special to me.  Christmas is my favorite t...

2019 Goals

Image
It has officially been a week in 2019!  My 2019 has started off a little rough because I had mouth surgery this past Thursday.  Nothing crazy, it was just a gum graft.  It literally took like 10-15 minutes and I was numbed but eating definitely is a challenge now, especially since the graft was done at the front of my mouth.  I even tried eating really soft mac and cheese the other day and I was so sore from just that little bit of chewing. But anyways, today I will be talking about how I did with my goals for 2018, and what my new goals are for 2019!  So, here is how I did in 2018: FITNESS //  In 2018, I wanted to go to the gym at least once a week that wasn't for dance practice.  I honestly was doing really well with this for the first two months...and then I joined my team's competition team.  Which means I added two more practices a week for a total of five practices a week.  Although I did have two days off, I decided that that was e...

What I Got For Christmas 2018

Image
Happy New Year everyone!  I seriously can not believe that it is 2019 already, I feel like 2018 really flew by.  So much is scheduled to happen for me already in 2019 (such as graduating college...yikes!), so I am excited to see everything that this year has in store! Although I have some New Year's post in progress, today's post is all about what I got for Christmas this year!  This is in no way to brag or show off what I got.  I am so lucky and blessed to have a family that is financially able to give gifts to each other.  These are some of my favorite videos to watch on YouTube and posts to read on blogs, so I thought I would contribute as well. So, without further ado, here is what I got this year! HARRY POTTER: A HISTORY OF MAGIC // It's no secret that I am a huge  Harry Potter fan.  I have all seven books, all of the companion books, and more themed magazines than I can count that all have to do with Harry Potter.  The entire book s...
